Bon allez, va quand même pas se laisser aller à la morosité ambiante. Ok, ok c'est la crise économique mais en 2005 tel n'était pas le cas, alors ? Hein ?
Pourquoi je raconte tout ça, moi ?
Ha oui, parce que je dois chroniquer un album rester dans les tiroirs de Metal Impact pendant 3 ans !
Perso je m'étais dis que si cette protubérance n'avait pas trouvé la fente de bon aloi c'est qu'il n'y avait rien à en tirer !
Et puis pourquoi j'irai me casser le schtroumpf à perdre mon temps sur un groupe Teuton qui tente de piller les coffres encore tiède du Melo Death à la suédoise ?
Parce que mon patron me l'a demandé, simplement. Et si ça c'est pas une bonne raison !
Alors me voilà devant mes ordis et ma chaîne, y'a vraiment des jours où je maudis notre Rédac Chef !
Qu'est-ce qui m'a pris de lui dire que j'étais fan de Death ?

Grosse production pour le moins, ça sonne plus Old School que certains protagonistes du pays où qui fait froid.
Savent jouer en plus les petits gars ! Des gros riffs qui restent ancrés dans les esgourdes. Pire encore v'la que je les fredonne sous la douche. Pas l'air d'un con sur ce coup là !
Le chant oscille entre chant hurlé et grawl de très bonne facture, c'est tout ce que j'aime en fait.
Avouons le, HYPOCRISY n'est jamais très loin, mais il est couplé à des coups de gratte que ne renierait pas un certain DISMEMBER. Et merde ! Suis conquis par ces Schtroumpfs !
Ça pulse dans les chaumières, ça arrache sans vergogne et sans baisse de régime pendant les 11 pistes qui plus est.
Encore un truc à côté duquel je suis passé.

Et bien il peut être temps de remédier à tout ceci !
Je te le dis, nous avons le droit ici à tout ce qui fait que le Death reste un style à part entière. C'est extrêmement bien réalisé, sans fioriture ni perte, sauf les sanguines. Il y a même des passages en guitare sèche qui, je l’admets, passent comme une lettre à la Poste (oh merde, mauvais sujet de comparaison en ces temps de crack).
Dans les refrains ils nous ont même gratifié de contretemps en Up à décorner les cocus. J'en arrive même à avoir des soubresauts dans mon siège.
Qu'est ce qu'il est bon mon Chef finalement !

Et la bonne nouvelle dans tout ce marasme, c'est que le groupe nous annonce son grand retour avec un album tout neuf dans le courant de l'année 2009.
