SETH (FRA) - Era Decay (2004)

Après deux ans d'absence et quelques changements avec notamment la signature chez Avantgarde Music ainsi que l'apport de sang frais grâce à un nouveau chanteur et un nouveau guitariste, Seth nous revient plus puissant que jamais avec ce "Era-Decay".
Leur dernier opus "Divine X" nous avait laissés entrevoir une évolution stylistique, Seth se cherchait depuis un moment et il semblerait qu'avec "Era Decay", ils ont enfin trouvé leur route à marquer de leur emprunte forte de leur toute nouvelle personnalité qui leur sied à merveille. Le "nouveau Seth", c'est plus de riffs percutants en empruntant quelques riffs au Death Metal, des mélodies en arpèges chaloupées, des voix profondes et criardes mais toujours enragées, quelques passages et arrangements électro et une batterie tonitruante. La production sert à merveille la froideur et la noirceur developpées par la musique des français.
En conclusion, fort est de constater que Seth progresse et dans le bon sens, nul doute que le successeur d'Era Decay sera vivement attendu... En attendant, ce "Era Decay" est une pièce incontournable dans la carrière de Seth. A se procurer...
